June Campout - River Canoing down the Cape Fear River

The June campout will be an exciting lite-camping and river canoeing trip down the Cape Fear River at Raven Rock State Park in Lillington, NC. We're going June 6-8.
We'll head down Friday evening and hike (~2mi) into camp. Saturday after breakfast, we'll hike out of camp and drive down to the canoe outfitters where they'll take 2 groups (one moderate, one high-adventure) to the drop-in areas. We'll canoe into camp (high adventure group), or canoe down river to the take-out. Sunday morning the high-adventure group will canoe back down river to the outfitter location in Lillington.
As of now, the estimated cost for the weekend is about $60. We are trying to reduce this cost by borrowing/renting canoes from a local Troop.
