I’m having an information meeting about the Philmont 2022 trip on Monday 1/18/21 at 7:30pm. We have several already signed up, but we don’t have the minimum number (8). We can take up to 12. I realized that not everyone knows about Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. It’s a fantastic place with true high adventure and one of the top places to go in Scouting. It will be a 2 week trip in July 2-17, 2022. Boys must be 14 by that time (or 13 and completed 8th grade).

It is a backpacking high adventure trip with tons of activities. It is also a more expensive trip, the (very rough) estimated cost is $2000 for travel, food, and activities.

In the past the crew has also done a few extra things to get acclimated to the altitude. These activities have included mountain biking down Pikes Peak and whitewater rafting.
