This is an example to be used for future posts.  It is not meant to be exhaustive, but to be used as a suggestive format for organization of the minutes.

Yearly Planning Meeting - 5/3/2013

  • Opening - 8:30AM
    • Prayer
    • Thanks
    • Acknowledgement for attendees
  • Scout ideas for campouts
    • List of all camping sites / ideas that were successful in the past
    • Typical camping added by default (i.e., Boat Day, Summer Camp, Webelos Invitational)
    • New camping sites / ideas
    • Feedback from scouts
  • Break / snack
  • Dates discussed
    • School conflicts
    • Holiday conflicts (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.)
    • Discussion of what makes sense (i.e., skiing in January versus June, first campout easy for bridging Webelos)
  • PLC votes for campouts and dates
  • Lunch
  • Future ideas / conflicts
  • Meeting adjourned 12:30PM
